BERGEN COUNTY CANCELS SEPTEMBER 27 MUSIC AT THE BARN CONCERT DUE TO NOR’EASTER

Final Performance of the Season Scheduled for October 25

PARK RIDGE, N.J. – The County of Bergen has announced that the 3rd Annual Bergen All-Star Jazz Blast at Wortendyke Barn, scheduled for Sunday, September 27, has been cancelled due to the severe weather conditions anticipated from the approaching nor’easter.

While Bergen County’s Music at the Barn concerts are normally held rain or shine, the anticipated conditions have led the County to cancel Sunday’s performance out of concern for the safety of performers, staff, and attendees.

The September 27 concert will not be rescheduled.

The Music at the Barn series will return for its final performance of the season on Sunday, October 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the 16th Annual Cider Barn Band.

The County appreciates the public’s understanding and encourages anyone who planned to attend Sunday’s concert to help spread the word about the cancellation.
