LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Irish alternative-rock artist and rising Hollywood star Jennifer Leigh is rapidly establishing herself as one of Los Angeles’ most exciting emerging rock artists following a sold-out headline debut at the legendary Viper Room and a performance at the iconic Troubadour.

Presented by Kelly McGarry in collaboration with Doheny Entertainment, Jennifer’s sold-out Viper Room performance marked her official live debut as a solo artist and introduced audiences to the first chapter of her forthcoming alternative-rock and grunge album, Art Martyr.

Performing to a packed house, Jennifer showcased emotionally charged songwriting, powerful vocals, and a guitar-driven sound blending alternative rock, grunge, and punk influences. The event attracted a notable crowd of musicians, actors, and entertainment industry figures, including Gene Gallagher and his band Villanelle, Tara Reid (American Pie) , Estevan Oriol (LA Originals) , Eve Mauro (A Working Man) , Charlotte McKinney (Baywatch) , Rob Weiss (Entourage) , Mike Kroeger of Nickelback, social media star Jonathan Peter, DeVaughn Nixon (The Bodyguard) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu legend Rigan Machado, amongst many other stars.

The evening was documented by acclaimed Los Angeles photographers Estevan Oriol, Tyler Curtis (Tyliner) and Ian Passmore.

Jennifer was joined by an accomplished live band featuring Robin Diaz, current drummer for Puddle of Mudd, whose career includes touring and performing with Courtney Love, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Chris Cornell. Lead guitarist Aaron Cappucci brought a distinctive ‘90s grunge-inspired guitar sound that helped shape the atmosphere of Jennifer’s live performance, while bassist Jed Mottley anchored the band’s powerful live sound with a driving, dynamic performance.

Jennifer’s musical journey began long before Los Angeles. She picked up the guitar at four years old before earning a musical scholarship at Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin, where she trained from 2015 to 2020.

At just 14 years old, Jennifer shared the stage with Green Day in Dublin before more than 20,000 people. Ahead of her Viper Room debut, Green Day drummer Tré Cool reflected on that milestone, telling her:

“You’re not letting playing with Green Day be your biggest moment.”

The words became a defining reminder that her earliest success was only the beginning.

Now based in Los Angeles, Jennifer is carving out a distinctive voice in modern alternative rock. Her debut album, Art Martyr, explores identity, addiction, resilience, and self-discovery through vulnerable storytelling, gritty guitar-driven production, and an uncompromising creative vision.

Following the overwhelming response to her sold-out Viper Room debut, Jennifer continued that momentum with a performance at the legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood, marking appearances at two of Los Angeles’ most historic rock venues as she builds anticipation for the release of Art Martyr.

Alongside her music career, Jennifer has also established herself in film, making her Hollywood debut in action film Blow for Blow (2025), which premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre and has worked on numerous films since including “CLAY”, a boxing action drama alongside Francesca Eastwood and Mike O’Hearn, while continuing her martial arts training under Master Rigan Machado.

With performances at two of Los Angeles’ most legendary music venues, growing support from respected names across music and entertainment, and her debut album Art Martyr on the horizon, Jennifer Leigh is emerging as one of alternative rock’s most promising new artists.
